Mt. Washington Auto Road
Spanning just 7.6 miles, the Mt. Washington Auto Road covers a chunk of northern New Hampshire in the White Mountain National Forest. Set near Franconia, the road stretches from Pinkham Notch to Mount Washington summit.
Formerly the Mount Washington Carriage Road, the course has hosted New England travelers since 1861. Events held on the road include the Mount Washington Hillclimb Auto Race, Mount Washington Road Race, Mount Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb, and Newton's Revenge.
