Armenia is a landlocked mountainous country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Armenia is a small but very mountainous country with many peaks reaching up to 4,095 meters. The biggest body of water is Lake Sevan, east of the capital Yerevan. Armenia almost never fails to surprise visitors. The mountain passes, valleys and canyons make it feel much larger, and Lake Sevan provides a welcome sight, with endless water in sight when on the southern shores.
