Cumberland Caverns

Cumberland Caverns located in McMinnville, is largest show cave in Tennessee. Join one of the variety of tours to see this magnificent display of cavern formations, waterfall and pools.

The cave's Volcano Room holds 400 people for unique special events, parties and weddings. Those ready for more adventure, consider joining in the Spelunk-Tacular Adventures that includes crawling through tight spaces and muddy messes.

A new highlight of the Caverns is Bluegrass Underground, the monthly bluegrass radio show performed live, inside the caverns.

Bell Witch Cave

Found on the National Register of Historic Places, the Bell Witch Cave is a popular attraction in Tennessee – just north of Nashville.

Located in Adams, this karst cave is well known thanks to the local legend of the Bell Witch. The Historic Bell Witch Cave & Farm preserves the site of the Bell family farm from the early 1800s.

Tours of Bell Witch Cave and the John Bell Cabin are offered from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during certain days and specific seasons.

The Bell Witch Cave & Farm also offers canoe and kayaking tours of the Red River for you outdoor types. Special events include the annual Bell Witch Fall Festival and Halloween At The Haunted Bell Witch Cave & Farm.

Crystal Shrine Grotto

Found at the 54-acre Memorial Park Cemetery, the Crystal Shrine Grotto is a unique attraction in the Memphis area. The grotto is 60-foot-deep cave filled with quartz crystal, and depicting Biblical stories.

Entrance to the grotto is found at the Abraham's Oak sculpture. Set in western Tennessee, this free attraction is open to the public daily from 6 a.m. to sunset.

The cemetery was established in 1924, while artist Dionicio Rodriguez began work on the grotto in 1938. The Crystal Shrine Grotto is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
