For the eastern part of the country, central Florida is the epicenter of fun and entertainment. Home to five major theme parks, cities like Orlando, Tampa, and Lake Buena Vista have become year-round destinations for families and thrill seekers.

The nucleus of Florida’s theme park country, Walt Disney World is a famous, 30,000-acre theme park consisting of four inner parks: Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Epcot, or Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

Visit the famed Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom, enjoy the company of exotic, African animals in the 500-acre Disney's Animal Kingdom, or snap a photo in front of the massive Sorcerer's Hat in Disney's Hollywood Studios – all in beautiful Lake Buena Vista.

Orlando is best known for its theme parks, and is home to Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando – amongst others. Enjoy more than 25 rides at Universal Studios Florida, or check out CityWalk Orlando and the Wet 'n Wild water park. For fans of the life aquatic, experience the exhibits, live performances and thrill rides of SeaWorld Orlando. Let the kids loose in Shamu’s Happy Harbor, or strap yourself in on coasters like Kraken and Manta. Wave hello to polar bears in Wild Artic, or see Shamu do his stuff at the famed Shamu Stadium.

More theme parks are found in west central Florida, including Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and LEGOLAND. Set in Tampa, Busch Gardens offers incredible thrill rides like Montu and Sheikra while it exhibits exotic animals throughout the park – best experienced from the Skyride. Located in Winter Haven neighboring Lake Eloise, the 145-acre LEGOLAND features 11 different sections within the park, including over 50 rides, the Cypress Gardens Botanical Gardens, and the Legoland Water Park.
