The Upper Delta’s bucolic farmlands and hardwood forests are easy and enjoyable to explore. America’s Great River Road National Scenic Byway runs through this enchanting Delta region on its 10-state route along the Mississippi River. It travels to the top of the 200’ tall Crowley’s Ridge, which soars above the flatlands below. Crowley’s Ridge Parkway is another beautiful drive that follows less-traveled roads through small towns further west in the Upper Delta region.
