Explore Wyoming’s Majestic Grand Teton National Park 

Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park is located 10 miles south of Yellowstone National Park near Jackson. Established as a national park in 1929, the park’s most famous feature is the Teton Mountain Range. Grand Teton, the tallest mountain, soars 13,775 ft. tall. Mount Owen comes in second at 12,925 ft. A total of nine peaks rise to elevations above 12,000 ft. Visitors to the park enjoy a variety of outdoor activities year-round.

Explore miles of hiking trails, go horseback riding and rock climbing or enjoy fishing and boating. Bird watchers and wildlife observers have ample photo opportunities especially during the warmer months. In winter the park becomes a wonderland worthy of a postcard.

Try cross-country skiing and snowshoeing or sign up for a scenic Snow Safari tour of the park by snowmobile. Stop by one of the five visitor centers for maps and information on ranger-led tours and special programs. For a good overview of the area, take a scenic drive. Jenny Lake Scenic Drive, Teton Park Road and Signal Mountain Summit Road offer spectacular views of the valley, lake, and peaks. The park is open year-round, but some roads may be closed due to icy conditions in winter.
