Tour The Caves Of Timpanogos Cave National Monument

Timpanogos Cave National Monument is situated in the Wasatch Mountains, accessed by driving in from American Fork through the Scenic Alpine Loop. The Monument covers 250 acres and includes three distinct caves, as well as the Visitor Center. More than 100,000 visitors head to the Monument every year for its historical importance and its wealth of adventure opportunities.

The three caves that call to travelers from around the world are the Timpanogos Cave, Middle Cave and Hansen Cave. Open seasonally, these deep caves should only be accessed via guided tour which can be arranged through the Visitor Center. Ranger-led programs and talks are also hosted there.

Tours bring visitors from the trailhead at the base of Mt. Timpanogos. They wind up through the dark, limestone caverns, revealing the unique sounds and sights of each cave’s formations, including stalagmites, drapery, flowstone, and helictites.
