Experience Thrilling Races at Idaho’s Speedways
If you have a passion for motorsports, you can find world-class racing in Idaho. The competition here is fierce, and the racing thrills will always keep you on the edge of your seat, from Meridian to Post Falls.
Speaking of Post Falls, racing fans should head directly to State Line Speedway. The Speedway was built in 1974 and features a ¼-mile, oval track that is banked. There is also a Figure 8 track that is embedded. Fans can sit in the concrete grandstands and cheer on all the racing action, which includes the Idaho 250, one of the largest stock events in the Northwest.
Meridian Speedway, in South Central Idaho, is a ¼-mile asphalt track which features weekly races. The Hornet 100 Series and the Winged Sprintcar races are annual events. It’s also the site of the Western Idaho Racing Association’s Hall of Fame.
Also in South Central Idaho, is the Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, Idaho. Here, you’ll find a 1/5-mile tri-oval track, a 1/3-mile asphalt track and a go-kart track. For more than 29 years, this NASCAR-sanctioned speedway has been creating exciting motorsport action, which highlights the region’s top drivers.
