Isles of Shoals

Located six miles off the shore, the Isles of Shoals are a group of islands east of Portsmouth belonging to both Maine and New Hampshire.

The islands on the New Hampshire side of the border include Lunging Island, Square Rock, Star Island, Seavey Island, White Island, White Island Ledge, and Anderson’s Ledge.

Star Island is home to a church and conference center, which holds general conferences throughout the warmer months.

In addition, the island features numerous trails, perfect for a hike or a walk through lush greenery and over granite rocks.
