Take A Tour of The Legendary USS New Jersey Battleship

The USS New Jersey battleship is one of the most popular attractions in the state. Located on the Delaware River, the ship is part of the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial in Camden. Stop by the visitor center first for information on self-guided and guided tours. Dress casually for your visit and wear comfortable shoes with non-skid soles. You will be climbing and descending steep ladders as you tour various areas of the ship.

On the tour you’ll visit the ship’s decks, mess hall, cabins, bridge, and other quarters used by Navy servicemen. View command and control centers and learn about the war record of the most decorated ship in U.S. Navy history. Enjoy interactive exhibits and test your skills on the 4D Flight Simulator. The exciting six-minute ride simulates the experience of piloting a prop plane launched from the battleship.

Engage in a dogfight, avoid enemy anti-aircraft fire, and steer your plane back to the safety of the ship. The ride requires an additional fee. Stop by the Chow Line concession stand for lunch and save time to visit the BattleShop for hats, books, toys, souvenirs, and memorabilia.
