Home to the province's capital city, Regina, the prairies of Southern Saskatchewan are home to the majority of the standing population. You can visit the Government House Museum and Heritage Museum, and enjoy tours of the 1891 home of the one-time Lieutenant Governor. Sports fans can cheer on the Canadian Football League Roughriders at the Mosaic Stadium, as well as hockey at the Credit Union iPlex.

Stargazers caravan to Cypress Hill Interprovincial Park and adventurers take turns rolling down the dunes at Great Sand Hills or Douglas Provincial Park. Lake Diefenbaker boasts nearly 500 miles of shoreline, while snowmobile trails in Qu'Appelle Valley and snowboard runs at Mission Ridge Winter Park are also popular draws.
