Pacific Rim National Park Reserve

Covering 511 square kilometres, the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is located on the western coast of Vancouver Island near Tofino.

Open from March till October, this Canadian national park consists of three regions: Long Beach, Broken Group Islands, and West Coast Trail.

Travelers are encouraged to visit British Columbia Highway 4 – known as the scenic Pacific Rim Highway – plus the Wickaninnish Interpretive Centre on Long Beach.

Other activities include kayaking the Barkley Sound, hiking the 75-kilometre West Coast Trail, and the Pacific Rim Whale Festival.
