Nez Perce National Historical Park

Connecting 38 separate sites, the Nez Perce National Historical Park crosses through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.

The trail preserves the 1877 flight of the Nez Perce from their Oregon homelands to seek peace in Canada and freedom from the pursuing U.S. Army Forces.

The trail includes informative exhibits and preserves important sites like the Bear Paw Battlefield and Canyon Creek. The sites also offer numerous outdoor activities to enjoy the Montana scenery.
