Brimming with performing arts and live theater, Oklahoma has a multitude of opportunities to take in a show while visiting the Midwest. Catch Broadway shows, plays, community theater, and dance, or get lost in the stories of ballets performed by both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City Ballet companies. Visit the Myriad Botanical Gardens in the summertime for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park. If you are in town during the holidays, don’t miss a production of “A Territorial Christmas” at Guthrie’s historic Pollard Theatre.

You don’t have to travel to NYC to see the best Broadway shows in Oklahoma. Catch the hottest tickets in town at both the Tulsa Performing Arts Center and the Civic Center Music Hall in OKC. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center features four theaters to entertain the crowds in. Permanent residents of the of the PAC include Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Ballet and Theatre Tulsa. The Chapman Music Hall – the largest of the PAC’s four theatres – plays host to the biggest concerts and comedy acts in town. OKC’s Civic Center features three theater spaces, a historic ballroom for special events and grand park area for outdoor entertainment.
