Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves

Set in the White Mountains, the Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves is located in northern New Hampshire near Franconia. Visitors follow a .75-mile series of boardwalks and stairs into Kinsman Notch and follow the hidden Lost River for a scenic outdoor adventure.

Visitors may try the Gorge and Boardwalk, the Ecology Trail, and the Dilly Cliff Trail. Thrill seekers, sign up for the Lantern Tour – and those with small children can explore the Lost River Mining Sluice and the Nature Garden.
