Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Gardens
Located on beautiful Catalina Island, the Wrigley Memorial and Botanical Gardens honors the chewing gum mogul, William Wrigley, Jr.
The memorial was built in 1933-1934 and is the focal point in the Botanical Gardens. Visitors to the Gardens will see rare plants, native California plants and plants from around the world.
Visit Orange County and Costa Mesa and for an ease of access to the site. Wrigley's love of Catalina island remains intact through the protection of the island. The Memorial Garden Foundation joined the Catalina Island Conservancy in this effort.
San Diego Botanic Garden
Featuring the largest bamboo collection in the country, the San Diego Botanic Garden is a premier destination in California. You'll find desert gardens and plants from around in the world. The 37-acre garden is located in Encinitas, thirty minutes north of San Diego.
