Enjoy Kansas’ Exciting Rodeos
While traveling through Kansas, you can’t help but notice the rich Western heritage and cowboy culture that is thriving in the Sunflower State. This means you can easily find a rodeo going on somewhere near you, any time of the year.
Kansas Biggest Rodeo kicks off the beginning of every August. Since 1929, this popular event has brought together some of the top rider in the world to show off their horse and bull riding skills. So, if take a short trip to Phillipsburg and cheer on the American cowboy and cowgirl as they rope, ride, race, and wrestle for the grand rodeo prize.
Connect to the traditions of the old west at one of the oldest rodeos in Kansas. The Flint Hills PRCA Rodeo is open to both professional and amateur competitors. If you are traveling through Flint the first weekend in June, this is the perfect event for kids to enjoy because they have a youth and junior rodeos, as well.
