Football in Southern CA

Several stadiums across Southern California host professional football games so make plans to attend at least one NFL game during football season. Four popular franchises in major cities around the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Oakland play several home games every year and attract fans from the world over.

You’ll want to catch the San Francisco 49ers when you’re visiting the Bay Area during the fall. Be sure to catch other games at Levi’s Stadium when you’re in Fairfield, Redwood City, or Petaluma. In Oakland, the O.co Coliseum will be your best bet for catching the Oakland Raiders in action. Qualcom Stadium in San Diego is home of the San Diego Chargers and is easily accessible from Oceanside and Chula Vista.

When you’re in Los Angeles, catch the Los Angeles Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum or cheer on the University of Southern California Trojans during your visit. NFL fans can also pick up memorabilia and other souvenirs from stadiums and shops nearby.
